Controle Mesure Systemes (CMS) is a leader in Non Destructive Testing (NDT) with a complete range of products for Eddy Current and Ultrasonic inspections since more than 30 years.

CMS has just delivered to one of its clients two control benches combining Eddy Current and Ultrasonic methods.
These stations are designed to inspect umbilical laser welded tubes in super duplex steel, diameter from 14 to 58mm, at a speed line from 5 to 15 m/min.

The testing benches are equipped with the following elements:

Eddy Current system with Zet@Premium instrument, magnetizing unit and encircling coil for detection of through holes and longitudinal notches
Ultrasonic system with rotating head: RotoUTscan 65, 8 channels for detection of internal/external defects, wall thickness measurement and OD
Low frequency DC + AC tunnel demagnetizing unit
Eddy Current control with Zet@Premium instrument, coil support and encircling coil for Sigma phase detection
Marking unit system

The various inspection elements and all the mechanics are connected to our supervisor named Probus.
This software, developed by CMS, makes it possible to collect information from different NDT elements, but also to centralize and manage all the sensors and actuators on the line.
