🧪 Materials Needed:
5-gallon bucket (food-grade plastic)

Air pump with dual outlets

Air stones or a bubbler (to keep oxygen flowing)

Boogie Brew Compost Tea (includes Part A: Compost and Part B: Catalyst)

Chlorine-free water (or let tap water sit out 24 hours to dechlorinate)

🧴 Step-by-Step Process:
1. Prepare the Water
Start by filling your 5-gallon bucket with clean, dechlorinated water. Chlorine or chloramine in tap water can kill beneficial microbes, so let it sit out overnight or use a dechlorinator like Boogie Blue water filter if you're in a hurry.

2. Add the Compost Tea Ingredients
Boogie Brew comes in two parts:

Part A (Compost Blend) – rich in composted materials and worm castings.

Part B (Catalyst Blend) – contains natural sugars and nutrients to feed the microbes.

Use about 2 cups total (1 cup from each part) for a 5-gallon batch. You can mix them together dry or place them in a mesh compost tea bag if you want to reduce sediment.

3. Install Your Bubbler Setup
Drop your air stones into the bucket and connect them to your air pump. Turn the pump on and make sure the water is bubbling vigorously. You want the tea to stay highly oxygenated the entire time to encourage aerobic (beneficial) microbes.

4. Brew for 24 Hours
Let the mixture bubble and brew for 12 to 24 hours. The sweet spot is usually right around 24 hours. During this time, the microbial life explodes in population, creating a living liquid full of plant-boosting organisms.

🚫 Important: Don’t let it brew for longer than 36 hours—if the oxygen runs low, bad (anaerobic) bacteria can take over.

💧 How to Use the Finished Compost Tea
Once brewing is done, the tea should have a slightly earthy, sweet smell—not sour or rotten.

You can:

Water your plants at the base to feed the soil biology.

Spray it on leaves (as a foliar spray) to protect against disease and boost growth.

Dilute it 1:1 with water if you're feeding sensitive seedlings.

Apply right away, as the living microbes begin dying off quickly once the aeration stops.

🔁 Clean Up
After use, rinse out your bucket, air stones, and tubing. A clean setup means healthy future brews!

This process is a great way to give your garden a biological boost, especially during transplanting, fruiting, or any time your plants need a pick-me-up. I've seen great results using Boogie Brew with my watermelons, tomatoes, and greens.
