PARIA CANYON AND BUCKSKIN GULCH | EPIC BACKPACKING DOCUMENTARY | WIRE PASS - LEES FERRY | 5 DAYS

Full Documentary of our 5 day backpacking trip through the Buckskin Gulch and the Paria Canyon from Wire Pass to Lees Ferry. This is the full documentary of that trip. The first day was spent hiking 14 miles through the Buckskin Gulch, the world's longest slot canyon. We then spend the next 4 days hiking down the Paria Canyon, crossing the Paria River well over a hundred times. Along the way we walk between towering Navajo sandstone walls, explore remote isolated canyons, and find historical sites left by both indigenous people and settlers from a time long ago. This is one of the coolest trails I have ever been on and is an unforgettable hike.

INFORMATION
You do need a permit to overnight camp in the Paria Canyon. Permits are very limited and you have to get them months in advance. We got ours in February of 2022 for our May 2022 hike. All permits must be picked up through recreation.gov
