Crossing Caloundra Bar 2, The return trip

Описание к видео Crossing Caloundra Bar 2, The return trip

Crossing Caloundra Bar, Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia while testing a new boat buoyancy aid called a 'Boat Collar'. http://www.boatcollar.com.au/ This is on a good day going back in. The Boat collar is a laminated foam block attached to the outside of the hull where it meets the bottom, the underside is cut at an angle that makes a reverse chine, thus turning the spray inwards, making a very dry boat that does not broach when going down a wave. really good for water sports too, can pull a person into the boat from the side without tipping the boat. The boat is a real old 14' Savage Gannet that I bought used in 1988, it was a mullet netting boat before that. the motor is a 40 horse Johnson bought new in 1991. Also see crossing Caloundra Bar 1 for trip out.
