A big thank you to Manami Mogari San for bringing together all prominent Bharatanatyam artists from the Kansai area to perform on one stage at the Kodomo Cultural Centre, Osaka on 9th June. The performances were truly mesmerizing. It was a privilege to see the beautiful presentations of Bharatanatyam by so many gurus and their students from Japan at a single event. The presence of two doyens of the dance form in Japan Kimiko Otani San and Akemi Sakurai San made the event very very special.
