1500HP Bugatti Divo pushing on a Swiss Mountain Pass: 8.0L Quad-Turbo W16 Engine Sound!

This video is fully focused on the flashy Bugatti Divo which took part in the 2022 Bernina Gran Turismo, an event born in 2014 with the aim of keep the memory of the legendary Bernina hillclimb race of 1929 and 1930 alive. It's held on the beautiful Bernina Pass in Switzerland, on a section of the original route specifically closed to traffic, with the hilclimb course starting from La Rösa (1,871 m above sea level) and ending up on the actual Bernina Pass (2,328 m) after a total of 5.9 km.

The Divo is a track-focused model unveiled by Bugatti Automobiles in 2018 and named after French racing driver Albert Divo, who raced for Bugatti in the 1920s winning the Targa Florio twice. The car is mainly based on the Bugatti Chiron but new aero devices, a stiffer setup and a mild slimming treatment make the Divo more suitable for track-use compared to the Chiron.

It's powered by a 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine able to produce around 1500 hp at 6,700 rpm and 1,600 Nm of constant torque from 2,000 to 6,000 rpm. The W16 is linked to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Watch it in action on the Swiss hillclim course for some demo and non-competitive runs!
