The sedan and station wagon models of the new C-Class are starting to roll off the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen. Production of Mercedes-Benz's best-selling vehicles over the past decade will begin at the Bremen plant, the flagship plant of the global C-Class production network. This will soon be followed by startups in international offices in Beijing, China and East London, South Africa.

Hybrid models will follow in rapid succession - under the Electricity First strategy, equipped with battery systems supplied from the Mercedes-Benz battery plant in Jawor, Poland.
Local production in China for the Chinese market is a decisive success factor for Mercedes-Benz. China has been the largest market for the C-class sedan since 2016. The Beijing plant produces a long-wheelbase version of the C-Class for the Chinese market.
In East London, right and left hand drive sedan models are produced for worldwide export.
