黃志博物館坐落在位於甘坑客家小鎮的東北角的鳳凰谷,由四棟遷建而來的清代徽派大宅(壽字樓、麒麟樓、鳳字樓、及福字樓)作為展覽館,分別是陶瓷館、玉器館、金屬器館和佛像藝術館。館藏文物6000多件,均為中國文物收藏家黃志先生的個人藏品,日常展出約700件文物,其餘藏品輪換展出。
鳳凰谷內還有古戲台、一個兩層高的木閣樓服務中心和連接宅子的木質連廊。這些徽派古建與鳳凰谷儼然一體構成博物館區。
黃志博物館所在徽派古建,白牆黛瓦、馬頭翹角、錯落有致,內部建庭院、鑿水池、置漏窗、巧設盆景、雕梁畫棟、流水潺潺。除了琳琅滿目的博物館品外,四棟徽派大宅本身也是珍貴的歷史建築和民居藝術品。
甘坑古鎮又稱甘坑客家小鎮,位於中國廣東省深圳市龍崗區吉華街道甘坑社區,佔地約18萬平方米,建村最少已有3百年歷史,故被譽為“深圳十大客家古村落”之一。

It consists of four relocated Huizhou mansions from the Qing Dynasty (Shouzi Tower, Qilin Tower, Fengzi Tower, and Fuzi Tower) as exhibitions. Gankeng Ancient Town, also known as Gankeng Hakka Town, is located in Gankeng Community, Jihua Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, China.
