Stones Throw Direct to Disc Series #1. Recorded live to vinyl in Capsule Labs Studios in LA on April 14, 2011 by Mayer Hawthorne & The Country. Peanut Butter Wolf as DJ, there was a second performance by the jazz group RICK (Sam Gendel, Adam Ratner, Louis Cole & Richard Sears - only 3 played, Sam was on the saxophone) but I do not have the recording. Sam Gendel was Peanut Butter Wolf's neighbor in LA.

This night was the 15th year anniversary of Stones Throw, which started out in 1996 as vinyl-only. Mayer Hawthorne's band, The Country is Topher Mohr - Guitar; Joe Abrams - Bass; Quincy McCrary - Keys; Quentin Joseph - Drums; Todd Simon - Trumpet; David Moyer - Saxophone.
