Frank is a retired US Army Colonel who has lost his sight. Charlie, on the other hand, is a college student looking forward to going to college. She agrees to take care of Frank at Thanksgiving to help pay for her commute home for Christmas. Frank's nephew says it will be easy money, but Frank has a different plan for this special occasion.
