BYU's James Corrigan Runs

The Brigham Young University athlete, 22, needed the Olympic standard in the 3,000 meter steeplechase on Saturday to secure his spot on the U.S. team after finishing third at the U.S. Olympic Trials on Sunday, June 23.

Corrigan did just that, clocking a blitzing time of 8:13.87 to duck under the mark of 8:15 and log his trip to Paris, doing so in the final race of the night at the Penn Relays Summer Showcase.
