I had an issue with my M645 where the battery would not last overnight. Besides this, there was a repetitive clicking sound after I used 2, 4 and 8 second exposures.

In this video, I do not cover disassembly of the side cover, as that is covered in other videos. I do show how I fixed the clicking and an inoperable battery check button. I was also able to confirm that this fix also resolved the battery draining.
