Is the ESV Study Bible the Best Study Bible? | Bible Review

The ESV Study Bible has had a significant impact on my own life. It represents the first Bible I used for intensive study, for a full read-through of Scripture, and the study notes helped me to fine-tune some of my theological beliefs. In this video, I provide a review of the ESV Study Bible with special attention to its many strengths.

Favorite Feature:
Controversial passages are treated with the most popular interpretations throughout church history, along with the author's own beliefs.

Least Favorite Feature:
Like most study Bibles, the pages are thin and there is little page real estate for note-taking and highlighting. However, this is not the goal of a study Bible, so this is just me being picky more than anything!

Verdict: If you can only own ONE study Bible, the ESV Study Bible provides a nice, mixed approach that is evangelical, reformed, and ecumenical in the best sense of each word. The study notes are excellent, the quality is excellent, and you will no doubt benefit from the study of God's Word with the ESV Study Bible as I have!
