When it came to creating a future-facing workspace for international law firm Osborne Clarke, sustainability was one of the key priorities.

When they moved into the top five floors of Bristol’s Halo, one of the UK’s most sustainable buildings, they needed a destination workplace that aligned with their values. From the base build to the scatter cushions, sustainability factored into every decision.

It was clear we needed to approach sustainability in a genuine and authentic manner. We adhered to the WELL Building Standards (WELL) and BREAAM sustainability criteria and used our “Intelligent Impact” model to define what a genuinely sustainable approach to the project looked like.

Throughout the project, we focused on striking a balance between local suppliers and the circular economy, focusing on durable materials.

Osborne Clarke’s showpiece office is a best-in-class example that when you put sustainability at the heart of the brief, you come out with a fantastic result.
