Train Sim World 4 GOBLIN line

As it’s all pretty quiet on the OMSI 2 scene at the moment, I thought I’d have drive the GOBLIN (Gospel Oak to Barking) line on Train Sim World 4.

If you have ever driven my OMSI 2 map of Route 24, then Gospel Oak station is very close to the “St Dominic’s Priory” stop on the route. A couple of mins walk. The station is served by the C11, which is AI in the OMSI 2 game.

I know the Gospel Oak to Blackhorse Road section of the route really well and this is a really authentic feeling journey. I’m not hugely knowledgeable about trains, but this 710/2 is pretty solid and the sounds are very realistic. The line was electrified recently and when diesel stock served the line, they used class 172 DMUs.

The Walthamstow Wetlands look fantastic and a really well modelled. The general city soundscape is bang on too.

It’s a great little drive and a nice break from OMSI 2
