Halwa is a tasty Indian sweet. There are many varieties of halwa and people follow different methods to prepare halwa. Ghee And sugar/ jaggery are must ingredients for halwa. Different vegetables and fruits, grains etc. are used for making halwa. Here we show the method of preparing healthy bottle gourd halwa. The method is almost similar to kashi halwa, which is already posted. The ingredients used here are grated bottle gourd, ghee and sugar. Cardamom can also be added for flavor. Cashew nuts are added to enhance the taste. While compared to other halwas, these halwas require very less amount of ghee. These halwas can't be cut into pieces and we use spoons to have them. So the structure of bottle gourd halwa, kashi halwa and carrot halwa are different, which can be eaten with spoon.

Ingredients-
Grated bottle gourd - 8 cups
Sugar- 3 cups
Ghee- 1/2 cup
Cashew nuts
Cardamom powder
