Tourism and Events Industry Update 15 May 2020

TEQ, in partnership with the Department of State Development, Tourism and Innovation and Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) hosted an industry update for tourism and events businesses on Friday, 15 May 2020.

*Tourism Minister Kate Jones to hear about the Queensland Government's plans to support the industry;
*Queensland's Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young to hear about public health restrictions and their impact on tourism and events businesses;
*TEQ's Chief Executive Officer Leanne Coddington (and team) to discuss TEQ's marketing plans and the role events will play;
*Queensland Tourism Industry Council's Chief Executive Officer Daniel Gschwind to learn about preparing COVID SAFE Plans to get back to business.
