Ashton Memorial is a memorial in Williamson Park, Lancaster, Lancashire England. Built between 1907 and 1909, Lord Ashton was a millionaire industrialist and built this beautiful tribute in memory of his 2nd wife Jessy. It cost £87,000 that's equivalent to around 8.5 million today.

The grade I listed building is a very impressive and imposing structure standing 150 feet (50 metres) tall as it dominates the surrounding landscape. It's in the Edwardian Baroque style and was designed by John Belcher. The main dome is green and made of copper. It glows beautiful shades of pinks during sunrise and sunset. This touching love story has been described as Englands finest folly, and the Taj Mahal of the North.
