Suresh Jange is the University Librarian and NAAC Coordinator at Gulbarga University. He holds the prestigious position of Council Member (South) – Indian Library Association, New Delhi (2019-2021). He is also the President of Karnataka University Library Association (KULA) & Hyderabad Karnataka Librarians’ Association.

In this Episode, Suresh Jange covers a number of topics. From the spirit and evolutionary role of the librarianship to the kind of information and technology tools the librarians have been utilising this pandemic.

He brings our attention to the systemic prejudices that librarians have to deal with. And the kind of problems that the subject of Library and Information Science itself faces due to the lack of employment.

It is an insightful talk that ends on a note of positivity and clearer picture as to what exactly librarians do and more importantly what's next!
