Reminiscent of their highly desired “Japanese Vintage” reissues of the early '80s, Fender’s new JV Modified ‘60s Stratocaster electric guitar combines classic style and sound with modern playability. Its three vintage-style single-coil pickups and gloss-finished basswood body create unmistakable Strat tone, while the Soft “V”-Shaped neck, 9.5" radius maple fingerboard and 21 medium-jumbo frets offer an exceptionally comfortable playing experience. A push-pull pot on Tone 2 adds the neck pickup to switch positions 1 and 2, providing even more tonal flexibility.

Liv Slingerland, who has worked with artists ranging from Halsey to Olivia Rodrigo to Lauren Ruth Ward, offers her first impressions of this versatile new Strat.
