I woke up for Fajr, prayed at my local masjid, then cycled to the University of Nottingham to admire the sunrise, edit a daily vlog and do the rest of my morning routine 🫡

But unfortunately, the internet connection at the university was pretty bad, so I went to the tennis centre to upload any videos/posts and then decided that I'm at the tennis centre so I may as well play tennis 💀

I borrowed a tennis racket and a ball, and practised against a wall, until someone came to me and then we ended up playing together haha. If you spend time outside, you will just inevitably run into cool people (this person was a Mech Eng student from Dubai)! 😲

Earlier that day, I found that Jummah starts at 12:15pm for Nottingham Central Mosque, so I cycled home to get my jubba/thobe, and cycled to the masjid as fast as possible, only to realise that Jummah was at 1:45pm!!!

After Jummah had finished, I cycled to Nottingham Central Library to do a TMUA paper 1 (got 6.5) and then prayed Asr before going to eat somewhere with my mum :)

She offered, I never go outside to eat 😅 The brothers always ask me to go outside to eat with them and I say no 😭

The turkish ice cream didn't melt and was dense??? I had no idea that was a thing.

After running into a childhood friend on the way, I rushed to Masjid Umar for Maghrib, thinking I was late again. BUT SOMEHOW I WASN'T. Idk why, but they started like 15 minutes after they were supposed to start, allowing me to pray Maghrib jamaat with them 😊

I was going to travel to another masjid for Isha (because I was trying to visit a different masjid for each prayer of the day), but Danyal convinced me to stay at Masjid Umar for Isha and for the halaqa afterwards!

After Maghrib, he gave me a very scary tour of the mosque (IT IS VERY BIG), and then we ended up staying there quite late until 10:40pm.

I did not sleep early that day, or pretty much any other day this past week 🥲
