I got my XK68 from eBay, this video showcases my initial thoughts and issues before mounting it for a live fire test. As long as you are okay with working on the device, I think the XK68 can be a decent IR laser combo device for it's Alibaba price of $60-ish dollars.

Same listing has replacement tape switches that I would suggest getting.
