What is the best job description you have ever seen?


It's good to browse around and see what other companies are writing for their job description but to attract top talent you need to be unique - be yourself.

Now a days, people are attracted to company cultures so just rewriting someone else's job description doesn't make you stand out and attract the talent your company needs.

Honestly, I like job descriptions that are straightforward. Forget all the gimmicky wording thrown in there. I like the wording to be clear and concise. Here are a bunch of great job description templates that do just that.

Of course, personality in a job description is not always a bad thing, either. I like to know a little bit about the company culture and feel like I sort of know the employees I will potentially be working with. A few links here and there to a careers site with employee testimonies would be satisfactory.

And there are, of course, the exceptions that make me laugh. A lot. Most of the weirdest examples are from Craigslist, like this one I found on BuzzFeed posted by “the worst murderer ever”.
