According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a 32-year-old man was arrested after robbing a West Hollywood liquor store. A YouTube star named Alex Ernst was shopping and was quick to disarm the suspect. Thankfully, nobody was harmed. FAKE?

YouTuber Alex Ernst shared this shocking video on Twitter. "just got the security footage from the liquor store I was at when a robber came in LMAO," he wrote. This video has been viewed more than 800,000 times on Twitter. "but through it all at the end of the day, it’s not good to make enemies. so everyone in that liquor store (including me) decided to befriend the robber instead. I’m extremely glad we could all become very good friends. have a wonderful day everyone!" Alex Ernst posted on Twitter.

He also shared a photo with the robber on Instagram. "if you thought the robbery video was real it wasn’t. I am sorry, haha but not everything you see on the internet is real. not all news is real. my work here is done & the clip will be in my coming vlog. I truly didn’t want to seem like I was a hero out of all this lol. I just wanted to hype up my next vlog and my movie if I could. I AM 100% admitting right here that the clip is in fact fake. I try to make my vlogs like movies and I want to make a movie that's very low budget in the future and I want it to be great! I AM GOING TO MAKE THE GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!
