Canadian pastor Lim Hyeon-soo, North Korea's longest-held western prisoner in decades, has been released in Pyongyang.
The regime says it's letting him go free on humanitarian grounds because he is not well.
Pyongyang's move has prompted the United States to again request the release of the three American nationals being held by the regime.

North Korea released Korean-Canadian detainee Lim Hyeon-soo on Wednesday over his deteriorating health. He had been serving a life sentence since 2015 for alleged anti-state activities.
Pyongyang's official Korean Central News Agency said the 62-year-old pastor, the regime's longest-held western prisoner, was let go on "sick bail," following a decision by North Korea's Central Court.
His release came just a day after the Canadian government delegation, led by the Prime Minister's national security adviser, arrived in Pyongyang to negotiate Lim's case.U.S. calls for release of its citizens after North Korea lets go Canadian pastor on 'sick bail'
And this release of a foreign detainee,... despite Pyongyang's escalating military threats,... comes as Lim's family had stepped up calls for his release following the death of American student Otto Warmbier in June.
Warmier, freed earlier this year due to health issues had died soon after returning home. He had been in a comatose state after nearly a year-and-a-half in captivity.
Following up on the release of the Korean-Canadian,... the U.S. State Department has urged North Korea to release other Americans.
Grace Choi, a spokeswoman for the State Department's Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs told Voice of America that it wants to see all Americans safely return home.
Currently, there are three Korean-Americans detained in the reclusive state,... including another pastor sentenced for 10 years of hard labour for spying.
And according to Seoul's Unification Ministry Thursday,.. there are also six South Korean citizens under captivity in the North.
South Korea had repeatedly urged the North to release its nationals, but have yet to receive a solid answer from Pyongyang.
