Cowboy Casserole with Beef & Tater Tots

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat Oven:
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.

Cook the Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Once done, drain any excess fat.

Mix the Sauce:
To the cooked beef, add cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until the mixture is fully blended and creamy.

Layer the Casserole:
In your prepared baking dish, layer the beef mixture evenly on the bottom.
Next, sprinkle the drained corn over the beef.
Then, add a layer of shredded cheese on top of the corn.

Top with Tater Tots:
Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single, even layer on top of the cheese.

Bake:
Place the dish in the oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Cool and Serve:
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
