Whether you're a fan of almond Biscotti, chocolate-dipped, or a more traditional flavor, this recipe is customizable to suit your taste. This is an easy, foolproof recipe that anyone can follow, even if you're a beginner baker!
Almond and Raisin Biscotti-
Ingredients:
• 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• ½ cup sugar (or substitute with jaggery powder for a healthier option)
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• 2 large eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ½ cup almonds (chopped)
• ½ cup raisins
Method
Preheat your oven to 160°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
• In another bowl, whisk eggs and vanilla extract.
• Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture to form a dough.
• Fold in chopped almonds and raisins.
• Divide the dough into two logs (about 10 inches long and 2 inches wide). Place
them on the baking tray.
• Bake for 20–25 minutes until firm and slightly golden.
• Let the logs cool for 10 minutes, then slice them diagonally into ½-inch thick
pieces.
• Place the slices back on the tray and bake for another 8–10 minutes on each side
until crisp.
Let the biscotti cool completely before serving. Enjoy with coffee, tea, or as a holiday treat!
