In tonight’s video Anna and I each make one of the English Paper Pieced, Elongated Hexagon bags, that will be in this year’s Christmas Shop! This design is based on the one I made earlier in the year for the trip I did to Norway, but now in two lovely colour-ways - I am calling them Plain and Fancy! They both use Free Spirit and Kona Solid fabrics and I am thrilled with them. I have made quite a few of these bags now and find them so useful for popping unfinished projects in, for having some hand stitching on the go. This was Anna’s first time making one and I think she did a marvellous job! So no matter what stage you are at in your sewing journey, you can have a go at this too!

Each kit contains everything you will need to make this English Paper Pieced Project bag - Paper templates in both the shapes you will need, a spool of Aurifil 50 weight thread 2600 (a lovely grey that disappears into any colour), 20 fabrics for you to make the pieced bag, plus contrasting fabric for the lining/ handles and a helpful Instruction booklet designed by my Daughter Martha’s partner Adam.

So tomorrow - Sunday 3rd November - at 7pm you will be able to browse all the different things I have been getting ready for you. Along with my daughters in law Anna and Rita, we have researched and found a whole shop full of treats for you, plus some deals on ‘bundles’
