The song goes into the nitty gritty of specific ways Mathangi herself does this and how at the roots of it all lies perfectionism and a constant waiting for permission. Mr. Procrastination is Mathangi’s way of acknowledging what is actually going on in her own inner landscape and creating a sense of hope and optimism, finally breaking out of this pattern of procrastination.
