Since their inception 3ish years ago fleshnuts have taken on a life of their own so much so that I gave them a backstory, unfolding over on my new website !

Flart (flesh art) Is a rather silly name. I came up for this process though others call it maker goo / goop. I go into a little more detail along with links over on my website (gothorella.com) .

PPE (personal protective equipment)
respirator with organic vapor cartridges: mainly for the solvent. though it's possible some of the blowing out agents used in the manufacturing of the EPS (styrofoam) are also getting released. so good to hedge your bets

Gloves: to avoid touching acetone and other obvious reasons, you either need solvent, specific gloves or to change your gloves very frequently as your nitrile ones will break quickly

Safety glasses: to guard against the possibility of solvent in the eye. It's honestly a good idea to wear safety glasses with more projects than you might think.

Well ventilated area. Also good on more projects than you might think

Keep away from fire: This one feels obvious but is my number one comment/complaint on all flart videos. please keep flammable things away from fire.
