Before upgrading your Surface Pro SSD, you should prepare the following things.
1. An M.2 2230 SSD
You can easily find one on Amazon or eBay, for example, this 256G Toshiba KIOXIA SSD on eBay is around $20, if you want to look up this SSD you can search its SKU here. And 512G SSD is
around $50. 1TB SSD is around $145.


2. Some Tools for Removal and Installation
