Typically when codes P0457 or P0455 are tripped, it is because there is a small leak somewhere in your system. First thing to check is a loose gas cap or broken gas gap. I always recommend purchasing a new one first as it is cheap potential fix. If this does not correct the issue, check that the hose is connected to the white module located above the gas tank (see video). If it is connected properly and not broken, replace the Evaporative System Integrity Module as seen in video.

Please double check that this part will fit your vehicle prior to ordering. Also, please ensure the rubber O-ring is replaced and/or not damaged before completing the installation of the new part.

Be aware you will most likely need to clear the check engine light after installation. If the check engine light does not come back up within a tank full of gas, you know this resolved your issue :-)
