Lau Lau discovers a Tinkly Tree. It has three golden leaves that make a tinkly noise when they brush together. She dances to the gentle sound they make, and takes two of the leaves back home with her – so she can enjoy the sound all the time. When the children arrive, they and the other Piplings follow the magical sound back to Lau Lau’s pod. Lau Lau is delighted that everyone likes her chiming leaves! But when they all try to dance to the sounds together, there isn’t enough room. Lau Lau leads everyone to the Tinkly Tree – but with only one leaf left, it’s not making pretty noises anymore. Eventually Lau Lau realises that she must return the other two leaves to the tree where they belong. Then everyone can enjoy the sounds that the three leaves make together!
