WHAT A LISTEN | Ab-Soul - Soul Burger First Reaction

Ab-Soul has released his newest hiphop and rap album, "Soul Burger". Ab-Soul is known for his contributions to the label, Top Dawg Entertainment, as well as to the hiphop group, "Black Hippy", with Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, and Jay Rock. Music Over Matter of course had to record their first listen and first reaction to this album, as Ab-Soul is one of the most underrated rappers. Overall, this project was a great listen and a solid album. Ab-Soul does a great job with different flows, funny bars, as well as reflective and introspective songs. The beat selection is also great, as no track sounds the same. Some of the notable songs include, "9 Mile", "All That" featuring JasonMartin and Thirsty P, "California Dream", featuring Vince Staples and Kamm Carson, "I, Myself, & Me" featuring Doechii, "Crazier" featuring JID, and "Righteous Man".
