From their second album in 2002, The Last Broadcast, the track Caught by the River was released in 2002.

Jimi Goodwin – lead singer, vocalist and bassist met the Williams brothers, Andy and Jez, at school. They played in local bands and met at the Hacienda and formed Sub Sub.

A Manchester band, emerging out of the Madchester sound.

After an early start as the band Sub Sub, and losing all their tapes and equipment this is a band that literally rose from the ashes of a fire, and called themselves Doves beginning in 1998.
