Let's dissect the anatomy of horror by analyzing the works of the father of horror manga, Junji Ito.

Through his works, Junji Ito has influenced and changed the horror genre, bringing science to how fear works and how it can be caused. No matter how desensitized you are to horror, there is always at least one story written by him that scares you to your core.

This video was a passion project for me, fueled by my love for Junji Ito's works. My personal favorite work of his (other than the one I talked about in the video) is "Heart of a Father." I didn't talk about this one in the video, but please read it because it's absolutely amazing and it's not talked about nearly as much as it deserves.

This video was written, voiced, and edited by me, Babaluke. All animations, including the pixel art and animated manga panels, and the thumbnail were made also by me.
