In my channel updates and 50k questions, you asked for me to try my hand at playing more games, and exploring more lore in Blizzard games, games I love and pick and beyond! "StoryTime" is a test at a new series, combining Let's Play/Playthrough of a game with really exploring, explaining (where I am knowledgeable enough to do so) and learning the lore of story-driven games!
In Episode One, we're getting stuck into Mass Effect One/1, the original Mass Effect from 2007. Love Mass Effect, played all three, I really want to personally revisit it again and the lore, ahead of Mass Effect Andromeda! Commander Shepard (or otherwise), the Turians, Asari, Krogans, Geth and all the wonderful alien races that make up the universe...if you've never played this game, you're in for a treat. Can't wait for us all to explore and enjoy it together :)
I explain my love for Mass Effect, We set the background for our character, and do a quick bit of character creation! Episode 2 will be LIVE in the playlist shortly after this goes up!
I'll be trying Pilot episodes like this of several games to see what you folks enjoy most, want me to play, or enjoy. Alongside StoryTime for any game will be a series of Lore Bytes, Hero / Character Interactions/Voicelines/In-Depth Story, and longer lore videos like the ones I do for Overwatch - so we'll be getting Lore'y and covering all bases whilst enjoying games together! :) Do let me know what you think in the comments below, what games you like, and how long should these be per episode?
