Bach Cello Prelude arranged for Guitar (Open Tuning)

This is the prelude to J.S. Bach's "Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major." My guitar is tuned to Open B, but I'm performing the piece in the original key of G. My interpretation is based on Pau Casal's version from 1938, which means it's a bit faster tempo than some other versions, and there are some really nice accented notes and a rubato feel. Hope you enjoy it!

Open B Tuning (B-F#-B-D#-F#-B) uses the same intervals as Open D tuning, but the strings are tuned lower. That means this arrangement can also be played in Open D, Open E, and Open C tunings.
