Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today, we're taking a look at this universal lift support. Now, this is going to replace one worn out or damaged loop mount gas strut for your truck cover or your boat hatch, your toolbox and more. Now, the dampening technology provides smooth operation that eliminates bouncing or jumping. And this is going to ensure frictionless movement in all weather conditions.

This arm extends to hold your lid or your hatch open, and it's going to gently compress while closing. Now, the loop mount connectors install directly to your original equipment manufacturer fittings. And the nitride coated steel shaft is corrosion resistant for long-lasting performance. And you are going to get one lift support. So, let me see if I can get you a measurement of the inside diameter of this loop mount.

Now, we're gonna be sitting right at 3/8 of an inch inside diameter of the loop mount. And then the extended length from the center of the loop to the center of the loop, try to get that as close as possible for you. We're gonna be sitting right at 10 1/16 inches from loop, to center of loop to center of loop. And the compressed length is going to be 6 11/16 inches. And the stroke is gonna be 3 3/8 inches.
