Catherine Bennett has been building tree circles for over 12 years on her Cowra property to improve habitat, connectivity and drought resilience. Not only are there great benefits for our environment, Catherine’s grazing productivity and drought resilience have also seen a benefit as well!

In a recent partnership with Mid Lachlan Landcare, Local Land Services has supported this initiative as one of the ways we are working to improve box gum grassy woodlands of the Central Tablelands. This work is funded through the support of the Australian Government.
