It was fortunate that there was no damage to this doll despite the cracking and yellowing of the box. However, the seller informed me it was stored in a pet home. I am allergic to pet dander, so she had to be cleaned. She is such a great find now that she is clean. Raven is glad we got Annabelle Lee. The detail that goes into these dolls is so unique. Her outfit is incredibly well made. The crimson, lace, and crosses stitched into the scarf and sleeves are well done. Everything is fine after a quick cold rinse with a Dawn-like dish soap and a blow drying on low. I was careful with her hair not to mess with it too much since it’s rooted to that style. Her face has drama and comedy masks in the eyes. The ribbons in her hair have the matching pattern to the inside of her dress. They look so nice coiled around her hair. Her boots are similar to Raven’s. They have slightly more detail with the crosses indented in them. I didn’t think I was going to have Annabelle Lee for a very long time. She is truly worth getting your hands on if you are a fan of Poe and/or quality goth dolls. Infinity, Penelope, Esperanza, and Hypnotica are still lurking somewhere. Although, I can’t help but be hexed by all of them. I love BEGoths so much. Maybe I’ll do a faux leather repair video on the next rare find…
