Summary :-
Jim is a diligent student who is aiming to get admission in the Ivy league colleges. But his average twin sister Sara, is always jealous of Jim as she cannot compete with him and therefore is more an attention seeker whose only achievement is that she can easily manipulate their parents to do as she pleases. Their parents are biased against Jim as at first they had to give more care and love to Sara as she was the weaker one and had a hard time in learning things in the beginning, but gradually this became her habit. Jim always neglects his family’s favoritism but it comes to an end as they decide to put him in the same college where his sister gets an admission. Since Jim is bright one he gets into an ivy league college but he fails to pay the tuition fee because of his parent’s insensitivity towards his emotions. Jim fails to make amends with this situation and rebels. But his ambitions get crushed as his parents choose Sara over him and later they disown Jim. This breaks Jim and he finds a resort in his grandparent’s house. They knew since the beginning about the partiality that was going on but didn’t say anything as Jim insisted. Later his grandfather made arrangements for the tuition fee as he had saved money from his retirement fund being a government official. Jim later starts a part time job in a local supermarket through his grandfather’s acquaintance. He provided good care to the aging grandparents by doing chores and other things. After three years Jim finally graduates and gets a paid internship offer in a noted company. His grandparents throw a small celebration party where they also invite Jim’s parents and his sister Sara. After the party the grandparents unveils their property will in which they’ve stated that 80% share will be given to Jim and rest will be for Sara. This angers Sara as she cannot accept Jim is getting more than her, she throws a tantrum and also calls Jim an outcast. But the grandfather admonishes her and doesn’t give a hoot when she threatens, and finally she goes away with her parents as she realizes that only her parents bow down to her hooey demands.
