Playing the Changes in Box 4 over a Slow Blues in G | Intermediate Blues Guitar Lesson

Описание к видео Playing the Changes in Box 4 over a Slow Blues in G | Intermediate Blues Guitar Lesson

When moving from beginner to intermediate, one of the key techniques for a blues player is to be able to 'play over the changes' this means when we play, we treat each chord in the progression a little differently in order to better harmonise with the underlying chord. This lesson looks at doing this entering around Box position 4 o the G minor pentatonic scale, meaning we are mainly playing between the 10th and 12th frets.

This lesson is broken into 3 parts:
- An introduction and showing how to target the root note of the underlying chord from Box 4
- Adding in extra notes from the underlying chords to box4
- An example solo with a breakdown of the licks
