Testing a Theory to see if Our Chicks are Roosters or Hens

Описание к видео Testing a Theory to see if Our Chicks are Roosters or Hens

Backyard chicken enthusiasts and first timers usually wait to see if their cute fluffy chick crows or lays an egg to determine if it's a boy or girl. This can take upwards to 18 - 21 weeks. If you are an aspiring seller or breeder, it's best if you know well beforehand so you can raise the flock you want.

In this video I put to the test a new method I found on the web to find out if your chick is a Pullet, a hen who has not begun laying, or a Cockrel, a Rooster that has not crowed.

Spoiler alert! It was inconclusive. Unless you can train your eye to determine, by looking into the vent, if it's a boy or girl, you'll just have to wait and watch for the developing signs of Hens and Roosters.

Thank you ‪@MBHeritageFarms‬ for the vent photo in my video! It's a great instructional! - Their video can be found here.    • How to Vent Sex Baby Chicks [] 98% Ac...
