The Ukrainian military rescued two paratroopers stranded in Russian-occupied territory.

The special operation to return the military personnel was carried out by soldiers of the Navy and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence.

The Naval Intelligence Directorate received information that two Ukrainian paratroopers have been in temporarily occupied territory since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

They took part in battles with Russian troops, were seriously wounded and could not independently enter Ukrainian-controlled territory. All this time they were hiding thanks to local residents.

The special naval unit "Angels" evacuated the fighters, with fire cover provided by the Air Assault Troops.
