To wind a bifilar coil, you will need a double copper stranded cable, 5 to 10 meters long, depending on the desired size. The size of the coil is determined by the induction cooker. The coil should not be too big or small, but should be about the size of the inner coil of the tile.
The cross section of the cable can be different, but for beginners, the easiest way is to use two by two and a half. An audio cable will work too.
It is more convenient to wind a flat and soft cable than a round and hard one.
Ideally, it is better to remove the upper thick insulation, but then it will be more difficult to wind the coil.
The coil can be twisted both in the right and in the left directions. Just turning it over to the other side, we get a different direction. In general, the right-handed vortex is considered more useful.
Winding should be done from the middle, after leaving fifty centimeters of free cable.
It is more convenient to use superglue to fix the cable when winding. You can also fasten with electrical tape, adhesive tape, plastic clamps-screeds.
To turn on the bifilar coil, connect the wires correctly: connect the upper wire from the middle of the coil to the lower wire of the edge of the coil. The remaining two wires are connected to the load.
Any induction cooker will do, but on the cheapest models, the inner coil is not copper, but coated with copper lacquer, which is undesirable.
When connecting, it is important that the cable from the coil does not pass through the control panel of the tile, this can lead to breakage of the tile. Also, there should not be electronic devices, telephones near the working bifilar coil.
A coil simply placed on an induction hob will not work, a load is required. Therefore, we first connect consumer devices, and only then we put the bifilar coil on the stove.
Any conductors are suitable for the load - electric kettles, boilers, irons, oil and infrared heaters, incandescent lamps. Electronics on chips - phones, laptops, fans - will fail.
The optimal ratio of the selected power of the induction cooker to the load on the bifilar coil is 1 to 3, that is, for 1000 watts of the working plate, 3000 watts of load.
On top of the bifilar coil, it is desirable to put crystals and magnets, except for neodymium ones. Crystals work as amplifiers of useful energy, and magnets slow down the flow a little and redirect it to the sides, for a more complete saturation of the surrounding space with ether. You can also charge water on a bifilar coil.
