February is a Universal 6 vibration which gives us a focus of home and family, responsibilities, the balance of the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine energies, and balancing our inner emotional world, with our outer world of career and Life Path. The 6th Major Arcana in the tarot is The Lovers. This can certainly be about partnerships of all kinds, especially those of the romantic type, but is also about the alchemical marriage between ourselves and the Divine.
The astrological highlights are: Mercury, the Messenger, moving into loving and compassionate Pisces on February 3rd where he will be until April 11th. This is good for creative ideas, imagination, and spiritual projects and communications. Venus, ruler of relationships and finances, shifts into Aries where she will be until March 5th. The Divine Feminine is much more independent and confident here, taking charge of her life with an inner sense of leadership. On February 8th and 9th we have a Full Moon at 20 degrees Leo in a positive connection with Mars, the Warrior, in inspirational Sagittarius. There is a lot of fire energy here for us to move forward with ideas and creative projects. Mars, ruler of energy and action, is moving into Capricorn on February 16th where he will be until March 30th. Decisions and actions taken will be towards goals, ambitions and career matters. Also on this day, Mercury, ruler of the mental realm, turns to retrograde motion until March 9th, allowing us time to review, revise, research, and re-evaluate our progress. We have a New Moon at 4 degrees Pisces on February 23rd, just two days after Mars activates the Solar Eclipse degree at 4 degrees Capricorn from Christmas Day 2019. There may be endings and new beginnings surrounding circumstances that were initiated by this eclipse back in December of 2019 so pay attention to the redirections that this time period brings.
The message from our angels and guides shows new beginnings of a tangible kind, perhaps with career and/or finances. There may be a reason to celebrate and we may also be initiating a new way of feeling. Getting together with those we love and care about, or with new friends is also indicated. Our one on one relationships (romantic, business, family and friends) is a focus as well this month. We may have old emotions that still need healing in some cases, or we may deepen certain connections with others on an emotional level. Open, honest, clear and authentic communication on an emotional level is key this month. There is a strong potential for shifts, redirections, transitions and transformation this month.
