The Tang L will be slightly more expensive that the base Model Y, at 41 thousand dollars. But the base model, of the Tang L electric, has six hundred and seventy horsepower! Even the long range, all wheel drive Model Y, is two twenty six hp, less powerful, than the base Tang L. And yet, it is a thousand dollars more expensive in China. That being said, it is worth noting, that the difference in performance is negligible. Plus, the Tesla, is armed with the AI four hardware, capable or running FSD 13.2. BYD has also added a simple innovation, of charging ports on both sides of the vehicle, that can charge the car simultaneously. This is crucial, given most of the charging stations, don't have chargers rated over 300 kilowatt.
