Luxury builds always begin with luxury design. There’s no way around it! An accurate, buildable, and functional design is imperative when you’re building something so intricate. The obvious reason for an accurate design is that the design is used to create the build estimate. That means the measurements MUST be accurate to get real prices for your project. But, don’t forget about the true importance of an accurate design.

Taking a closer look at just one feature on this design— the sunken fire pit for instance, is surrounded by a zero edge pool. The zero edge requires very specific engineering, the pool pump system has to be programmed accordingly, the border of the pit has to be pitched just right, etc. This is all because you DO NOT want the pool to spill into the sunken fire pit!

The moral of the story is to make sure you’re hiring a company that truly understands how to design buildable, beautiful outdoor spaces. You will typically find this in a design and build firm (like Calimingo! 😉). A high quality, luxury design is not just a pretty picture! 😎
