Ranged vs Necromancy, Which Combat Style is Better in RuneScape 3

The purpose of this video is to test whether ranged or necromancy is the better combat style in RuneScape right now. To do this I completed a few boss kills at a number of different bosses that I am quite familiar with, using ranged and then testing a few kills with Necromancy to get a feel of the pros and cons but also to compare kill times.

TLDR: Necromancy will be the preferred combat style for most players because of its simplicity and survivability. The ability rotations are a lot easier and intuitive to understand for Necromancy and you have the vengeful ghost that gives you a lot of passive healing. Necromancy also has amazing incantations like invoke death, split soul and threads of fate which gives a lot of AoE utility.
Ranged is also a great combat style but it is a lot more expensive to get best in slot gear. Ranged's damage can definitely compete with Necromancy, especially with the poison build, but ranged also has a lot more action's per minute (APM) to get high tier DPS. If you enjoy full manual and optimizing when to use certain abilities Ranged is a great combat style to use.
